春休み: spring vacation

毎年見てきた満開の桜風景を見ることは叶わなかったけれど

会えなかった人たちもいるけれど

この世に生きていることに心底感謝し、幸せを満喫した日本での春休み。

そして、時間と労力を割いてくれた友人たちに家族に親族、皆様ありがとう。

見返りを求めず、寛大な、心の豊かな人たち。

こんなふうになりたい、と

いつも気持ちをぎゅっと引き締めてくれる。

I stayed in my hometown and visited my parents home during my spring vacation. Though I could not see my loved cherry blossom in full bloom as the past years and could not see some people I wanted to see, I enjoyed my time to the full. I appreciated what I have, the fact that I am alive and I realized I am really blessed and happy. I am deeply grateful for the friends and family members that they spared me their precious time and effort. They are the ones I admire and I get inspired to be like because they are always so giving, considerate and cheerful.

When I feel spring approaching...

Yes, it's always summer here, but I feel spring with the carrot plants I planted in my tiny patch. And my mind is already flying around the familiar mountains near my parents home  and the fishing ports I very often visited to while away. Yes. I've got butterflies in my stomach. I will go back to Japan to spend one week vacation. Tasting spring with my eyes, ears, nose, mouth. It's become one of the most precious pleasure since I came here. Especially I look forward to eating spring foods in Japan. Teehee.

春だ！と意識してそわそわ。間引きした人参の風味も嬉しく。来月にはそこそこ人参らしくなるかな？なるといいな。
今月末から１週間日本への帰国休暇。すでに心は日本の春へ向かってふわふわ。日本の味と花をたっぷり充填するのだ。

母の３回忌法要のため帰国しました。バスが徳島に入って思いました。３日ぶりに旅行から戻った時のような感じやなぁ、って。会いたい人みんなに会うことは叶わなかったけれど、お腹は満たされ（過ぎ）てセブに戻ってまいりました。今はまた日常を楽しむ毎日。

わたしの関わってる人たちは、みんな本当に好い人ばかりで、お腹は満たされた、なんて上に書いたけれど、心も200％満たされた日本滞在でした。ああ本当に幸せだわたし。
