March 11th is the birthday of my dear Yoda & Tengteng:)) Tengteng died in 2005 at the age of 9, and I still miss her so much I sometimes can't hold my tears. I hope Yoda and my other cats live long. They were totally white when they were born, but as they grow, their ears, nose, paws & legs, and tail got dark brown. Now Yoda is far more dark-colored.
誕生日おめでとう！ヨーダは14歳になりました。テンテコは９歳のままやね・・・こんなに白っちかったのか。生まれた時はホンマに真っ白だったなぁ。あのちっこいのがどんどんすくすく大きくなり・・・今ではかなり巨大な。でもあの頃よりももっと甘えんぼやね。
３月１１日生まれのそこのあなた、お誕生日おめでとうございます。

ReplyDeleteThe photo brings back sweet memories, but I feel like it was only yesterday. Sometimes I feel like Tengteng is still around:))
I wish animals lived much longer than they do.... I never understood just how attached you can be to an animal until we got Suki. She's still a baby, and yet when I try to imagine life without her, it's unbearably painful!

I sometimes hoped the same, but now I feel I just can't die leaving them behind. It's way too painful to see our loved one go, just imagining the moment kills me, but I think I have to and want to do them the best I can and stay beside them at their last moment. I...now tears are coming up writing this, but yes, I will survive my cats. I know they would miss me if I were gone suddenly. I know your Suki-chan too would unbearably miss you if you were gone before her.

ReplyDeleteI don't know about Seesaw's B-day. She was found by my EX BF at an animal shelter when she was still little. So, we really don't know about her bio at all. I even forgot when I adapted her...??? hmm...therefore....she doesn't have any specific day as her B-day, but it seems everyday is a birthday as she enjoys her sweet kitty life here...;)

ReplyDeleteOh, I don't know Koma & Shima's BDs, either. I picked Koma up at a park, and Shima was originally adopted by my brother. You adpted Seesaw from the shelter! Wonderful!! She is happiest whenever with you I bet!:))
