It was more than 10 years ago that I had my bicycle. I sometimes rode it but it was lost, maybe stolen. I don't remember well. Since then I have driven my little car, but yesterday I did away with it.So today I bought a new little bicycle to get around and to go work. Now I feel so free! I feel as if I can go anywhere now, which may sound paradoxically but at the same time reasonably enough, I guess.
Today I biked for 30 minutes to came home from work. It was much more fun and easier than I expected. But, in fact, I already have a little muscle ache in the legs. Well I took a slow bath so I hope it will go away by tomorrow...!
I took this photo in 2003. I loved this abandoned rustic bike so much I always took photos of it. It was lost a long time ago though. It was done away with, too.
前に自転車を持ってたのはもう１０年以上前になる。盗られたかなにかでなくしてからは、ずっと車。基本的にはどこか他所へ行ったときだけ歩く、という生活だった。
昨日、その車を廃車にした。さすがに別れはちょっと寂しかった。ちっこいノーマルな軽自動車、なのに、かなり無茶な運転をしたり、道なき道を走らせたりした。ああ、ホンマにお疲れさまでした・・・！
で、今日からの足は、今日買った自転車。仕事からの帰り、３０分ほどこいで帰って来た。楽しい！どこへでも行けそうな自由な気分。小さい自転車はしんどいやろな・・・って思ったけど、なんや、７キロの道のりなんて楽勝やん。
でも帰宅したらすでに足が軽くガクガク、筋肉痛。久しぶりに湯船に湯を張ってゆっくり浸かってみた。明日にはすっきりしてますように・・・
写真は、一目見たその日から愛してやまなかった捨てられた自転車。この場所へ行くたびに撮ってたけれど、ある日消えてた。処分されてしまったんだろうな。
