a withered rose gives off rich aroma, too. 

I didn't particularly love roses very much, though I find them gorgeous and beautiful.
Still surrounded by the smell of roses and looking the flowers through the view finder (plus a loupe to take macro photos), I was totally intoxicated with its smell and beauty. I was completely attracted by the roses in the park.
Now I love roses:))

バラは特別に好き！というのではなかった。本当に美しい花だとは思うけれど。
それでもあの日、公園でバラの香りに包まれ、いろんなバラのかんばせをファインダー越しに（＋虫眼鏡越しに、そしてもちろん素で）見ていたら、完全に酔ってしまった。根こそぎ魅了された。
今はバラは特別に好き。笑

私も食べたくなった～～っ！

On the left is a photo I took in summer 2004, at "umie" in Takamatsu, Kagawa, one of my favorite cafes. It's tofu donut, tasting somewhat mild:) Come to think of it, I haven't had this donut since then; I have been to the cafe several times after that, though, but now I saw 2 posts from friends on donuts in these 12 hours, I wanna eat one! There is a Mister Donut near the office and I could buy some there, but the donuts they sell there is not the kind I crave for now. What I want is a kind your mother may have made for you, the good old one! (My mother has never made any donut, though;P)

豆腐ドーナツ@umie、2004年の夏。

この頃はリバーサル使いまくってたので、長辺がやたら長い写真が多い＞ｍ＜

でも久々に見ると、クリアでいいな。スキャナがフィルムを読み取ってくれれば使うんだけど・・・スキャナがおバカになって以来、ストックしたままになってる。

友達ふたりがドーナツのことをブログに書いてるのをこの数時間で立て続けに見ちゃった以上、もう食べたくてしょうがないのです！仕事場の近くにミスドがあるけど、アカン、ちゃう。今食べたいのは、ママンの味的ドーナツ。古きよき懐かしきドーナツなのです。（オールドファッションもちと違う。笑）

ちゅうても、うちのママン（爆）は、ドーナツなんて作ってくれたことないけど。

I'm frustrated. It looks like I will have 0 % chance of eating such donuts today. I think I just have to see old photos of donut and bite the bullet. Maybe tomorrow or this weekend...

The photo on the right is a donut from another cafe in Takamatsu. It's a little quiet cafe, serving a nice coffee. This donut was gooood, too!

あぁ、どうやら今日は、そういうドーナツにはありつけそうにありません。過去のそういうドーナツの写真を見てガマン・・・いや、余計ストレスたまりそう。笑

右は高松のゴーストランチにて。今もあるのかな、あのカフェ。コーヒーがおいしかったと記憶してるのだけど。ドーナツもね。真ん中の穴部分をちっこく丸く揚げたのもついてきたんでした＾＾

別のゴーストランチ。というか、こっちが↑のカフェのモチーフになってるとのこと。こっちに行きたい。懐かしいあったかいドーナツに惹かれつつ、こういう荒涼とした場所に行きたい気持ち・・・
