うつろし

去年の今頃だったか、２年前の今頃だったか、友だちに誘われて少しだけ遠出して入ったお店でヤマアジサイ（店の名も紫陽花の名
も忘れた）が売られていた。枝振りが野性的で同時に繊細で、ああどうしよう、買おうかな、でも枯らしてしまうかも、と買わずに帰ってから母にそのことを話したら、買えばよかったのに、と言われたことを思い出した。
うちの荒れ庭で長年咲いていた紫陽花、けっこう枝が伸びていたのもあって父が去年短く切ってしまったら、今年は全く花をつけていない。それどころか、ドクダミや他の雑草に地面がおおわれて、紫陽花は何処に？？の状態。
紫陽花がない６月。近所を歩いていたらあのヤマアジサイのことを思い出したのでした。

I saw a pot of wild hydrangea at a strange shop at this time one or two years ago. I was deadly attracted to it; the way the branches was so beautiful. Yet I didn't buy it, afraid of having it die (I am really bad at growing plants). And there was a thick bunch of hydrangea in our tiny garden for more than 15 years. Last summer after the flowers bloomed, my father cut the branches short as usual. Now it seems to have died. Fish herb is more lush than last years and covers the ground. I miss the hydrangea and remember the wild hydrangea of the shop, regretting not buying it.

a bit of this and that

I love these faded colors.

紫陽花ときちんと向き合って撮りたいけれど、ちゃちゃっとinstaxで撮って終わりそうな予感。簡単なのも楽しいけれど、それだけじゃつまらない。

今週の日曜日には向日葵を買おう。昨日、突然の誘いでぶいーんと行ったお店にあった向日葵、ゴッホが描いていたようなヒマワリ、素敵だった。繊細な感じもありつつ力強くて。あれをドンッと束で飾るとまたよさそう。でもそれは別の機会に。この日曜日に欲しいのは、よく見る向日葵（の小さい種類）。

帰宅してから脚が妙にかゆい・・・と思ったら蕁麻疹？いかん、もう寝なくては。

p.s. コマニャ〜モニャムール♬は元気。相変わらず、電気を消したらわたしの部屋からすっすと出て行く。この先も、夜一緒に眠ることはないかな・・・涙
長年、脇の下に誰かいたことを思い出すと、ほんとに寂しい。（といいつつ、爆睡だけれど）

hydrangea

うちの紫陽花はどうしたことか、今年は一輪しか咲いてない。彼女のアナベルはグリーンから白、満開、ぽわんとまあるくてとても可愛らしい。これを撮ったときはまだ買ったばかりだったから、接写レンズつけたらピントがあらぬ所へ行ってしまっててちょっと残念。１週間経ってようやく使い慣れてきました。

夏への呼び水

海へ抜ける山道に咲いてた紫陽花。花弁や色がなんかゴージャスかつシックじゃないですか？

あじさい、って名前の響きもいいけれど、視覚的には漢字で「紫陽花」が好きです。夏の入り口にぴったりだと思える。

今年はまず家の庭（なんて言える代物では決してないですが）に咲いた紫陽花を撮りまくりました。いや、撮りまくったと言っても数ではなく時間をかけたのです。珍しく。

来月にはきっといつもの高原の紫陽花を撮りに行くでしょう。去年も一昨年もそのまた前の夏も、友人が東から遊びに来てくれてちょうど満開の頃だったから連れて行った場所。今年は久しぶりにひとりで？あの高原には早朝に行くのが一番だし。あの高原に限らず、早起きが写真を撮るには素敵で楽しい季節がやってきました。雨の朝だって、どしゃぶりじゃなければ、音も匂いも愛おしい。

I love the sound "ajisai", Japanese word for hydrangea, but love the letters "紫陽花" even more. The characters are just right enough to be associated to the beginning of summer. I took more time to take photos of hydrangea blooming in my garden (if you saw it in real, it couldn't be called "garden", I guess;). I will go shooting hydrangea on a mountaintop, where I took friends who came to see me in the past years. If you come to my place around this time of the year I will definitely take you there.

Yesterday I read in the blog of a friend that he loves shooting before/around the sunset. I love those periods of the day too, but in summertime, I go to the beach or mountain to take photos around the sunrise. I have less difficulty getting up early and the light, colors before dawn are really special:)
