sakura in winter

They have been seen flowering for about a month. Looks like cherry blossoms in winter live longer than those in spring. They are not as gorgeous but it's for that reason that  I love them the more. They look kind of modest,  getting along well with muted colors and tones of winter.  Unfortunately when I took this photo I didn't have a suitable lens and camera for photographing tiny flowers, though.

昨日もまだ咲いてた桜。もう１ヶ月以上になるんじゃないだろうか。春の桜ほど華やかではないけれど、冬の澄んでいるけどどこか寂しい空や周りのしんとした色調によく似合っていいなと思う。いつもは遠くらか見てるだけだったけど、傍まで行ってみたらほんとに可愛らしかった。でも、この日に限って一眼レフを持っていなかった。残念。

年が明けて現像＋プリントされて戻って来たフィルム写真、どっさり。ボツどっさり。すっごい無駄遣いだよな、これって。。。とちょっと落ち込んで笑い飛ばす。
