an ordinary day

Today is "momo no sekku", or "hina matsuri", a traditional festival which used to be for both boys and girls but now is for girls only. It is said to trace back to Hei-an jidai, about 1200 years ago. We celebrate and pray for girls' well-being, health grow-ups and happiness decorating dolls, hina ningyo, some families gorgeous set of dolls, some simple pair or like ones on the photo, and others (including my family!) nothing. We also make some special dishes like chirashi-zushi, sushi with thin strips of fried egg, vegetables, and some people put pieces of raw fish or shrimp.
Well, I won't prepare it;p I will make some other dishes I like. I made chili oil and bought a chili oil which is very popular now, so I will use each on raw garland chrysanthemum and enjoy the difference:)
