I wish I had had my SX-70 with me today. I was caught by nostalgia, so I edited a few of the pics I took today with my PEN digital  to the feeling.

古寺に行く途中に、通っていた中学校がある。運転しながらちらっと目をやると、どうやら桜が満開だったので，つい誘われて立ち寄った。立ち入り禁止，なのだけど，開いてる隙間からこそっと入りました。ごめんなさい。
すっかりノスタルジーな気分、けれどポラロイドのフィルムを持ってなかった。それでペンデジのスクエアで撮ったのにflickrのpicnikでまたしても手を加えました。

sign of spring

I find a lot of little sings of spring. But spring still seems a bit far away. I wonder how long this cold weather will last.

I noticed I had perhaps never seen peach blossoms. In Japan, March 3 is traditionally the day of the Festival for Girls, aka "Momo no Sekku", which means the Peach Festival. On the day we celebrate with displaying hina dolls and hope each girl in a family will grow up healthy and lovely. I remembered that the day would come tomorrow, and thought of peach blossoms.
